We Have a New Site!

The Card Co. Walkthrough

The Card Co. was established in late 2011 in Dubai out of our passion for unique, high quality, handmade wedding invitation and celebration cards. Our seven-year long research into the trends of the bespoke stationery industry has resulted in the birth of our home-grown concept, The Card Co.
Inspiration is derived from our appreciation and celebration of the rich and diverse tastes unique to each culture, whether that’s global fashion, art, interiors and calligraphy – both old and new.
Aside from the website, we would love to welcome you to our boutique based at DIFC (Dubai International Financial Centre) to meet our creative design team, review samples and discuss ideas for your special occasion.

Jonald + Thess | Save the Date by Patrick Fronda

These are the few footages we shot last Friday, all shots were taken on Canon 60D and graded and added few grains to create film-like texture. Originally I wanted to feel like 80’s film, need more tweaking for me to get that look but so far I love the result. They requested a music to laid it over the video but seems it not fits well on the video so I changed the music treatment.

Music: The Orchestra | Build a Home

Vera + Brian Wedding Highlights by SlingShots

Vera and Brian (A Love Story)

What can I say about this video? Hmmm..I like it not because I did it but because I used my knowledge in movie story telling, Actually before came here in Dubai I was a film maker in the Philippines doing some feature film from local to abroad, I was very happy I have given a chance to do story how brian and Vera met. I need to use my script writing skills to came up with an simle shooting script and it was fun! I’s like to thank people who helped we creating this specially to my partner Ed Rico who always there to lend his equipment glyde track and glyde cam. I would love to see more narrative style video in the future maybe I will use this as my primary style in video making because I need to create my own genre of wedding filming as we can see todays videos were almost identical. Thanks to Vera and Brian for the opportunity, enjoy! watch also for the onsite video!

Vera + Brian Sneak Peek

I really love doing narrative maybe this is my strength on video, I can tell story and make a good direction as my background is movie making. It helps me a lot when I am directing my couple, and if you notice also the camera works they were all based on movie cinematography rules. I think I will continue doing narrative style videos compare to the old fashioned sweet and romantic style.

I will do my own style to swim out from the sea with full of fish!
